International Holding acquires the iconic Italian shipbuilding brand.
Falcon Yachts, an iconic Made in Italy Shipyard, has been brought back to life thanks to its recent acquisition by the Middle Eastern based T-Quest Holdings.
The international group which began investing in Tuscany in early 2019, acquired and completely renovated a shipyard facility in the Navicelli District of the DarsenaPisana near Pisa. The industrial production area was converted from a previously abandoned site to a fully functional plant.
The recovery operations of this new facility, which began in January 2019 and ended in November of the same year, have resulted in a 11,000 square meter production plant. The shipyard consists of 5 slots dedicated to the construction of steel and alloy yachts between 40 and 60 meters in length, with direct access to the water, due to its 86-meter-long waterfront along the canal.
The structure also holds a two-storey buildingwhereboth administrative and technical offices are located. The development of the facility, with this international investment, has led to the creationof 150 direct and indirect jobs in 2019.
The project’s completion will herald the return of this iconic and historic yachts manufacturing brand, which remains close to the hearts of owners and nautical enthusiasts alike. T-Quest Holdings is committed to bringing the brand back to its original level of fame on both a domestic and international level.
In addition, Falcon Yachts production division will now be directed by Massimo Fantozzi, a legendary figure within the Italian yachting industry.
